Lesley-Ann was born in Cape Town in South Africa on December 2, 1981. She is a model and actress best known as a TV actress and film. Brandt, who began her acting career in the New Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom, made her American debut with the role of Naevia in the historical show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared in several television shows over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. Brandt portrays the role of Mazikeen on the show based on urban fantasy Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born and was raised in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved into Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. The actress began her career as a model by appearing in print advertisements and commercials. She worked as a consultant for IT recruitment and also in retail prior to becoming famous as a fashion model. In 2009, she was a part-time actress in the New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In 2021, she made her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She also started playing the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. This is her biggest role so far. In the show, she is co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
