This is a natural quality for a woman from Irish descent, who was surrounded in the beginning by gifted family members and parents. Maureen was born in Ranelagh which was a suburb in Dublin in Ireland on the 17th of August 1920. Marguerita FitzSimons was an accomplished contralto. Charles FitzSimons managed a Dublin-based business and owned a share in "The Shamrock Rovers," an eminent Irish soccer squad. Maureen FitzSimons is the 2nd child of Charles FitzSimons. Peggy FitzSimons, Florrie Fitzsimons Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons rounded out the wonderful family. Maureen was a fan of rough sports as an infant and was extremely good in them.
