Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. Her first teaching job was at Maury County. There, she taught Reading to kindergarten and 1st grades. Following her wedding to her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones in 1998, she relocated to Thompsons Station. In the Thompsons Station, she started teaching fourth grade at Bethesda Elementary. Between 1999 and 2000, as well as 2001, she completed her Masters of instruction at Trevecca Nazarene University while continuing to instruct. The couple welcomed their first child, Baylor. Ashley spent 15 years serving the community, her church as well as children. Ashley was a teacher and leader at Thompson Station's Preschool and Student Ministry for 13 years. Ashley was a homeschooler for her three kids for 3 years while she was at home. During their home schooling years children attended a home school tutorial which Ashley was also a teacher of History up to the 1st Grade. She loved staying at home with her family and she loved to teach her children. However, God made it clear that the time was right for them to go back to full-time. Brent and Ashley have five kids. Silas Eliza Cruz and Cruz All are GCA students. Baylor is a GCA graduated plays baseball at UTMartin. Callan an GCA graduate attends Western Kentucky University. This is a very busy family who enjoys activities, fishing and hunting with their family.
